VIP LOUNGE - MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS

In coordination with our partners at Fira Barcelona and GSMA, we were responsible for the conceptualization, design, production, and project management of the VIP area that GSMA reserves for some of its top guests and exhibitors.

This exclusive zone exudes quality in every corner—a place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the conference, take a break, and recharge before continuing the day.

The goal for this edition was to design the space so that all guests could be seated safely, complying with all Covid-19 regulations in a sustainable environment connected with nature.

Our creative team conceptualized a spacious catering area with large octagonal tables, allowing guests to avoid direct face-to-face contact while eating. A large curtain wall illuminated with LED lights elegantly divided the space, adding a sense of calm to the networking area. This section offered various settings and spaces where visitors could charge their devices or have quick, informal meetings.

The main structural element was our “Máxima” aluminum system, known for its long lifecycle, making it one of the most sustainable materials available. Building upon this core resource, we developed a minimalist design concept that conveyed tranquility and relaxation. Plywood elements, floral decorations, and curtains added warmth to the space, while the lighting created intimate areas that tied the whole concept together.
