The reception area is very important to choose, taking into account the number of access points to the fair stand. If the stand has only one access point, there is nothing to decide, but if it is a corner stand, with two open sides, or an island stand, with four access points, it is advisable to choose the best access (the one that leads to the busiest aisle or with the best neighbours…) and to centralize the reception area in a single place.
The reception area of your company’s stand at a trade fair should be as attractive as possible. Although it is traditional to place the classic brochure displays here, it may not always be the most advisable, because it makes it easier for visitor-collectors of brochures to pass by and not provide any contact on their part.
The counter is the key element in the design of the reception area and the stand in general, especially for smaller stands. It is important to think about its shape, position and size.
Placing stools or chairs in front of the counter is highly recommended, to give a welcoming image.
In addition to the furniture elements, the reception area should not lack the people representing your company, which is the most valued by visitors.
